In June 2021, the new archaeological guide “The Olympieion and the other sanctuaries – Strolling along the banks of ancient Ilissos” of the Society of Friends of the Acropolis was published, in Greek and English, with support from the J. F. Costopoulos Foundation. The publication was compiled and edited by archaeologists of the Ephorate of Antiquities of the city of Athens.

It is the eighth volume of the S.F.A.’s series of “Archaeological promenades around the Acropolis”. The other archaeological guides are as follows: “Acropolis and Museum”, “South Slope of the Acropolis”, “North, East and West Slopes of the Acropolis”, “Ancient Agora of Athens-Areopagus Hill”, “Museum of the Ancient Agora of Athens”, “Roman Agora – Library of Hadrian”, “Hills of Philopappos – Pnyx – Nymphs” and “The Olympieion and the other sanctuaries – Strolling along the banks of ancient Ilissos”.
