The J. F. Costopoulos Foundation supported Cerebral Palsy Greece / Open Door in its “STAGE DOOR” programme for people with and without disabilities, designed to remove the barriers that still stand among different people and demonstrate in practice how art and play can help us create a wondrous new world shared by all. The programme comprised the one-day experiential seminar “Play” for parents and children with disabilities (50 participants), the one-day experiential seminar “Art unites us all” for parents of disabled children and volunteers (50 participants) and the five-day experiential seminar “STAGEDOOR – Images from an Exhibition” for people with and without disabilities (57 participants).

As one of the participating parents wrote, “We thank you for thinking of taking us somewhere else, to a pretty place away from our daily problems, where we could listen and feel! Thanks again for taking care of our children while still having some spare love for us, too”.
