The J. F. Costopoulos Foundation supported the programme of guided tours for members of disability-related institutions to museums, archaeological sites and cultural facilities, organised by ARTOGETHER – Art for People with and without Disabilities.

Through the programme, 550 disabled individuals from 26 institutions were given guided tours or participated in educational projects adapted to the needs of each particular group in fourteen cultural sites such as the Acropolis Museum and Site, the Ancient Agora, the Museum of Cycladic Art, the National Gallery, etc.

ARTOGETHER serves as a bridge between disability-related agencies and museums, archaeological sites and cultural facilities, promoting the equitable participation of the disabled in the city’s cultural heritage as well as their access to—and inclusion in—cultural institutions.
